  • Who can take this course?

This course is designed for RNs and APRNs, but all licensed medical professionals are welcome, including MDs, PAs, DDSs, and LPNs. The curriculum includes entrepreneurship, business and comprehensive clinical fundamentals with a focus on RNs and APRNs, but the content is applicable to any provider entering the aesthetics field. Still not sure if this is the right fit for you? Schedule a quick 20-minute call with Cassie or Suzanne to find out! https://calendly.com/aesthetic-connect/free-20-minute-mentoring-call

  • Can I earn CME credit? Will I be certified or receive a certificate?

Yes! The online course is pre-approved for a combined 12.7 continuing education credits (CEs) by the AANP for Nurse Practitioners and RNs. A certificate with a course number will be provided for submission. PAs, CRNAs, and DDSs may submit for non-prior approval CME credit. Both online and hands-on participants will receive a certificate of completion, which can be used for malpractice insurance and credentialing. There is no official “certification” that exists to practice aesthetics but this is as close as it gets!

  • How do I access the course materials? How long do I have access to the online didactic?

Following your purchase, you will immediately access your course materials through our learning platform. You have access for one year from the date you purchase

  • How should I prepare for the hands-on class? Are there payment plans? Is lunch provided?

You must complete the online didactic course before attending the hands-on portion. Payment plans are available at checkout through Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, and Cash App Pay. Lunch is provided and you will receive a detailed logistics email 2 weeks prior to the class. Please register 2 weeks prior to the start of class to ensure we have enough time and resources to prepare for your class.

  • Will models be provided? Is the cost of product included?

In the hands on tox courses you will serve as each-other's models. You can choose to be injected with saline or tox during training. Saline is included in the price of the class, tox is $8/unit. Due to the delayed onset of tox, injecting with saline is often preferable for initial training. For the filler hands on course dermal filler is provided at no additional charge. You need to come to the class prepared to be a model for cheeks and lips yourself OR bring a model for these procedures. We feel strongly it's great for injectors to feel the treatments they are learning to deliver (men too!). One downfall of many other classes is the unreliability of models.

  • What areas are covered in the Dermal Filler online content and where will we inject at the hands-on class?

This filler course is comprehensive and covers needle technique of cheeks/midface, lips, chin, marionette lines, and dental blocks. In-person training each student will get to inject cheeks and lips. We have found over years of training that it is most effective to highly focus on competency of these 2 most popular and foundational areas. Learning is most effective when skills are focused, practiced and reinforced. Cheeks and lips are are the foundation on which more advanced skills and areas will be built. We want you to walk away with confidence not confusion.

  • What is covered in the online and Botox hands-on courses?

The online course includes detailed injection videos, maps, and instruction for treating 11s, forehead lines, crow’s feet, DAOs, chin, and lip flip/smoker’s lines. The hands-on course focuses on injection experience with 11s, forehead, and crow’s feet, along with an overview of lower face areas.

  • What if I can’t attend my scheduled class? Are classes ever canceled?

We understand - life happens! If you need to reschedule, we offer a one-time complimentary reschedule. Just email us at [email protected] within 14 days of the class and we’ll help you switch to a new date. While we make every effort to hold classes as planned, there are rare instances when a class may need to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, instructor illness, etc.. If that happens, you’ll have the option to reschedule to any upcoming class or receive a refund for the hands-on portion of the course.
